Storm debris pickup to begin June 10

The City will begin storm debris pickup for vegetative debris only on June 10. Neighborhood schedules to be announced at a later date.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – City of Bowling Green storm debris pick up will begin June 10.

Place all vegetative debris near the curb for pick up.

Do not place debris in the street or in drainage ditches. Also, do not place chipped debris at the road. The city will not pick up construction debris or bulk waste items.

If you pay a contractor to cut your trees and limbs, the contractor is responsible for removing that debris such as large limbs, tree trunks, root balls and other vegetation.

The City will only collect debris from the city rights of way.
