Reception for new U.S. Citizens

Summary: The City of Bowling Green is hosting a reception to recognize individuals who have become naturalized United States Citizens since September 2023. The annual Reception for New Americans will take place on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the Sloan Convention Center in Bowling Green, KY.
2024 Fall Adult Sand Volleyball Registration

Warren County Cleanup at Weldon Peete Park

Summary: The Kentucky Waterways Alliance and our partners Warren County Stormwater, Warren County Parks and Recreation, Bowling Green Parks and Recreation and the City of Bowling Green will host a cleanup to address litter in areas surrounding the Barren River, specifically in Weldon Peete Park.

Duncan Hines Days 2024 Recap

City celebrates graduates of Academy for New Americans

Storm debris pickup begins today

BGFD seeks lateral transfers

City donates recovered Southern Queen Hotel’s historic Shake Rag items to WKU Special Collections Library

Summary: The City donated an extensive collection of historic Shake Rag artifacts from the Southern Queen Hotel to the Western Kentucky University Special Collections Library last week. Almost 800 items were recovered last summer during the process of stabilizing the property to save it for restoration.
International students visit City Hall
