Russell Sims Aquatic Center Prepares for Summer with Facility Upgrades

The City of Bowling Green’s Parks and Recreation Department has made several improvements to Russell Sims Aquatic Center in preparation for the upcoming summer season. Recent updates include renovated restrooms, improved concession facilities, and a refreshed pool deck to enhance safety and comfort for all visitors. These upgrades are part of an ongoing effort to improve the overall experience for families and individuals who enjoy the community pool each summer. “We want every visitor to feel safe, comfortable, and welcome,” said Cameron Levis, Recreation Division Manager for Bowling Green Parks and Recreation. “These updates are just the beginning of what’s ahead at Russell Sims.” Russell Sims Aquatic Center officially opens for the season on Saturday, May 25.
