Our mission is to offer a comprehensive variety of excellent recreational programs and facilities that promote wellness and enhance quality of life in our diverse community and represent our commitment to a safe and sustainable future.

Vision

Our vision is to provide a wide range of park and recreational services that are balanced and inclusive for all residents and visitors. These services will encourage community health through the provision of welcoming parks, facilities, and programs, including athletics, that are clean, safe, and consistent in delivery. Services and facilities will be enhanced through collaboration and investment for a future that connects the community and embraces the City's diversity, both in terms of its residents and its resources.

2025 Spring Adult Softball League Registration-Extended

Bowling Green Parks and Recreation has extended registration for Spring Adult Softball Leagues online until April 24. This is a great sport to play outside, get in some exercise and hang out with friends. For more information contact 270-393-3624.

2025 Summer Fun Camp Registration

Bowling Green Parks and Recreation will begin accepting registration online on April 14 at 10 am. Campers can enjoy games, arts & crafts, music, dance & outdoor activities at F.O. Moxley Community Center. Spots are LIMITED. For more information contact 270-393-3734.

2025 New Adventure Adult Camp Registration

Adaptive Recreation will begin registration on Monday, April 14 at 10 am for New Adventure Adult Camp (18+ years). It's a great opportunity for all ages with intellectual or physical disabilities, be active and socialize. Contact 270-393-3484 for more info.

2025 Camp Good Times Registration

Parker-Bennett Community Center will begin enrollment for Camp Good Times April 14 @ 9:00 am. Campers will be experience to swimming, weekly field trips, arts & crafts, games, talent shows, prizes and much more. Need more information contact 270-393-3310.
