Update Bowling Green - Code Enforcement
Mar 22, 2021
In today’s edition of Update Bowling Green, we’ll discuss Code Enforcement in the City of Bowling Green. As the weather gets warmer, the City of Bowling Green would like to remind residents that common Code Enforcement complaints we receive are regarding grass and weeds, inoperable vehicles, and yard sale signs. • Grass or weeds may not be over 10 inches in height. • Inoperable vehicles on either your lawn or your driveway are not permissible. • Yard sale signs should not be attached to stop signs, utility poles or other street signs and are expected to be taken down immediately following an event. If a violation is found, the property owner will have 10 days to correct the issue. Re-inspection will take place following that 10 day period. If the property is still not in compliance than a citation will be issued. If you would like more information on code enforcement, or to report a violation, please contact 270- 393-3641.
