The City Celebrates Riverfront Park

Oct 29, 2026

Big things are happening at Riverfront Park! Bowling Green Parks & Recreation Director Brent Belcher is excited to share the news of the ribbon cutting for Phase 1 of the Riverfront Park development and the groundbreaking of Phase 2! On Wednesday, October 28, the City of Bowling Green welcomed the community to celebrate these exciting milestones as we continue bringing this destination park to life. And we’re just getting started! There are more exciting developments and celebrations ahead as we keep moving forward on a project that will create new opportunities for our community to connect, explore, and enjoy our beautiful riverfront.
