Golf Outings
How do i secure a date?
After you have contacted the Pro Shop to reserve a date, you will receive a contract. Any request is considered tentative until we receive a non-refundable deposit of $100 and a completed contract upon the designated date of return. Your final count of players is required 10 days in advance of your function. This is the minimum player count and cannot be reduced. Final payment is required on the day of our scheduled tournament or outing. The deposit will be applied against your final payment.
What are the rates for a golf outing/tournament?
Please call the Pro Shop for rates.
What happens if i cancel my event?
All deposits are non-refundable.
What about a rain date?
As long as the course is playable, the event will proceed as scheduled. If the course is deemed unplayable, you will have the opportunity to reschedule at a mutually convenient date; however, if weather conditions dictate closing the golf course on your scheduled date, you will not be obligated to the terms and conditions of the signed contract. If your tournament cannot finish all 18 holes of play due to weather conditions, the terms and conditions of the signed contract will be pro-rated to accommodate the situation.
What tournament services are available?
At no charge, we can provide any or all of the following services upon your advance request:
- Score Cards
- Scoring
- Cart Assignments
- Pairings and/or Hole Assignments
- Rule Sheets
- Registration Area
- Fundraising Ideas and Suggestions

What about registration?
Upon your request, the Pro Shop will provide a registration table in front of the Pro Shop for the Tournament Committee to check in golfers on registration list, distribute any handouts, favors, gifts, and sell any raffle tickets. The key to a smoothly run event is the early registration of its participants. For a shotgun tournament, the players should register 30-60 minutes prior to the actual starting time, depending on the size of the group and the registration time needed to check in each player. Tournaments with consecutive tee times require the golfers to register at least 25 minutes prior to their tee time. Any late arrivals will be delivered to their group wherever they are on the course. Should the Committee wish to have sponsor signs on the course, please arrange to have the signs brought to the Pro Shop two days in advance. The back of each sign should be clearly labeled as to its placement (hole number, tee or green.) We will return the signs to you normally one hour after the conclusion of your event. Signs left at the Pro Shop will be discarded.
What additional services are available and at what cost?
In the event that your group includes out-of-town golfers who did not bring clubs, rental clubs are available in men's right and left handed or women's right handed at a minimal cost per set. Special arrangements must be made to circulate beer at your golf outing/tournament. All orders for alcoholic beverages must be made through the Pro Shop at least three days in advance.
You may wish to rent extra carts to be used for spectators or concessions. There will be an additional charge for each extra cart. Please notify us at least 2 days in advance if you desire extra carts.
What are tournament rules and prizes?
The Pro Shop will provide a rules sheet to the golfers explaining course rules, tournament format, prizes, special contests, etc. These details will be determined by the tournament chairman and the Pro Shop two weeks prior to the event. We are happy to set up contest holes for your tournament. The most popular contests include: longest drive, closets to the pin and longest putt.
What information should be communicated in advance to potential participants?
Each player must have his/her own set of clubs. Metal or ceramic spikes are prohibited. Only non-metal (soft) spikes are permitted.
How long is the anticipated round?
Golf is a four hour game. We recognize typical golf outings include a number of high handicap players and therefore schedule outings based on a five hour round. It is imperative that your players arrive on time and maintain an adequate speed of play, as there may be a second event due to begin approximately five hours after your players are scheduled to tee off.
