The term “animal nuisances” shall include, but is not limited to: When off private property, any animal must be restrained by a lead or leash and under the control of a responsible person, with the exception of the enclosed area at the H.P. Thomas Bark Park Animals residing at this location were observed running loose off the property and impeding traffic on a busy road. Please ensure all animals are properly restrained or confined to their property.

Code Description:
Any owner, keeper or harborer of any animal shall confine such animal as defined. Puppies and dogs: confinement shall mean on the premises of the owner and confined in a secure enclosure or accompanied by the owner on the owner's property and under his/her direct control. If off the premises of the owner, the animal must be restrained by a lead or leash and under the control of a responsible person, or accompanied by a responsible person into an approved off-leash area, and in conformance with all regulations and/or requirements imposed as a condition of utilizing such off-leash area. Animals residing at this location are not properly confined to the property as required. Please ensure all animals are properly confined as described below.
