It was observed that the apartment in the structure is a hazard to the occupants due to flooding. Electrical meter was pulled for the Apt.#928

Upon failure of the owner, owner’s authorized agent or person responsible to comply with the notice provisions within the time given, the code official shall post on the premises or on defective equipment a placard bearing the word “Condemned” and a statement of the penalties provided for occupying the premises, operating the equipment or removing the placard. Such notice shall be posted in a conspicuous place in or about the structure affected by such notice. If the notice pertains to equipment, it shall be placed on the condemned equipment. A placard was place on the door of Apt. #928 due to being unfit for human occupancy.

All interior surfaces, including windows and doors, shall be maintained in good, clean and sanitary condition. Peeling, chipping, flaking or abraded paint shall be repaired, removed or covered. Cracked or loose plaster, decayed wood and other defective surface conditions shall be corrected. At least one interior surface at this location that is not maintained in a clean/sanitary condition and/or in good repair. It was observed that the flooding cause sanitary condition issue. At least one of the interior HVAC units had mold like substance that needs to be cleaned by a third party contractor.

Any new bathroom receptacle outlet shall have ground fault circuit interrupter protection. At At least one receptacle at this location is not installed or maintained in good condition or safe, working order.

It was observed in Apt. #928 has water in the light fixtures and the electrical meter was pulled for this location. Please have a licenced electrician repair and get it in good working order.
