Traffic Impact Alert Veterans Day Parade

Traffic impacts are expected for the annual Veterans Day Parade in downtown Bowling Green on Saturday morning, November 9. Staging will begin as early as 6 pm, and the parade starts at 10:00 a.m. from Circus Square Park. View the map for details.
Traffic and parking impacts are expected in downtown Bowling Green Saturday morning, Nov. 11 for the Annual Veterans Day Parade. Street closures are expected as early as 6:00 a.m. in the vicinity of Kummer Little Recreation Center up to Circus Square Park as the staging area is prepared for parade entries to arrive and line up. The parade route begins and ends near Circus Square Park, traveling up College Street, turning left onto 10th Avenue; then, left onto State Street and ends at 6th and State Street. The parade starts at 10 a.m. but the route will close to traffic up to 15 minutes before the start.
Following the conclusion of the parade, a flag raising ceremony will take place in the courtyard at the Warren County Courthouse located at 429 E. 10th Avenue.
All parade-related closures should resume to normal traffic no later than 11 a.m.
Free public parking is available on weekends in the Justice Center and Paxton House lots, and in the BGMU lot, with parking in the Stadium Park parking garage always free. View the downtown parking map to identify both free and paid parking locations.
