Traffic Impact for Halloween, Pumpkin Alley

Traffic impacts are expected during trick-or-treating on Thursday, Oct. 31 for Pumpkin Alley in the Briarwood neighborhood and in other locations with seasonal displays. Drivers should use caution driving in neighborhoods at all times, but especially between 4:00 and 7:00 p.m.

Drivers are advised to use caution and allow extra time when traveling in Bowling Green neighborhoods on Thursday, Oct. 31 for trick-or-treating.

Briarwood's annual Pumpkin Alley featuring jack-o-lanterns and trick-or-treating will include a street closure on Mooreland Drive from Single Tree/Bramblebush Drive to Wrenwood. The street will be barricaded from 4:00 p.m. as late as 7:30 p.m.

There are local seasonal displays that may generate heavy pedestrian traffic in other areas as well, so wherever you travel, please use caution and exercise patience.

Recommended trick-or-treating times are 4:00-7:00 p.m.
