Volunteer Positions

The Bowling Green Police Department is committed to providing the best service to the visitors and citizens of Bowling Green. One of the ways we believe we can enhance our delivery of services is to utilize the skills and abilities of volunteers that have an interest in working in the field of law enforcement.

There are many diverse opportunities for volunteers to serve with the Bowling Green Police Department. If you find an opportunity that you think you might be interested in, please contact us for further information.

The Bowling Green Police Department subscribes to the ideals of the Volunteers in Police Service (VIPS) Program , a component of the USA Freedom Corp established by President George W. Bush. The Bowling Green Police Department also works closely with the RSVP Program (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) through Community Action of Southern Kentucky.
