Old Morgantown Road Revitalization Project
Status as of July 12, 2010We have identified property needs and are finalizing discussions with affected parties. Our policy is to contact each property owner and discuss impacts and compensation with each, individually. Property owners are impacted to varying degrees. To date we have reached verbal agreements with all 68 property owners affected and have finalized agreements with 63 property owners. We continue to coordinate with AT&T, BGMU, Atmos Energy and Insight Communications for utility relocation which began in late February. Necessary tree trimming/removal work is complete as is utility pole relocation. Overhead utility lines continue to be relocated where necessary and Atmos Energy is finalizing gasline relocation work. Scott & Ritter, Inc. will begin waterline and storm sewer construction in late July.
