The Bowling Green Fire Department is a fully paid department that is broken down into five different divisions with a total of 115 employees. | Bowling Green Fire Department to Receive National Accreditation
The Commission on Fire Accreditation International, also known as The Center for Public Safety Excellence has recommended the City of Bowing Green Fire Department for national accreditation. The Bowling Green Fire Department produced a self-study manual that represented a significant effort by the staff to produce and present a quality document. In this document the BGFD demonstrated that all competencies have been met and received a credible rating. It was also demonstrated that all applicable criteria have been met and received a credible rating.
