The New Neighbor Series is an educational session for City Staff and community to learn about the history, cultural traditions, foods, dances and more from specific cultural groups represented in the city of Bowling Green. The New Neighbor Series is held once per year.
The International Communities Liaison coordinates this session working closely with the respective ethnic and cultural communities to develop the educational session, providing guidance and support. This is the 6th installment of the New Neighbor series, five others series have been conducted to date: Nepal/Bhutan, Burma, Latin America, Middle East, and Africa.
