Summary: CSX Transportation will be replacing ties on the railroad tracks that travel through Bowling Green beginning tonight, March 8th, 2018 and continuing through town at the rate of approximately one mile per day.

Summary: The City of Bowling Green is accepting public comments regarding the community development and housing needs of Census Tract 112.

Summary: Demolition will begin on the concrete intersections along Center Street on Monday, March 5th, 2018. Work will consist of demolishing deteriorating concrete and re-pouring the intersections from 12th Street down to 8th Street.

Summary: Bowling Green Parks and Recreation will be having open interviews for the following positions on Friday, March 2: Lifeguards, Pool Attendants, Greenskeeper, Golf Shop Attendant, Landscape Helper, Parks Maintenance Laborer, and Cemetery Laborer.

Summary: Bowling Green Parks and Recreation will hold the second annual Run for Abilities on Sunday, April 15 at 2 p.m. at the Loops at Lovers Lane, 385 Lovers Lane. Proceeds benefit the local Bowling Green Special Olympics Program.

Summary: The cemetery staff will be conducting their Annual Spring Cleanup beginning March 1. The cleanup will include decorations, flowers, statuary, plaques, etc. that are on the ground; this includes items that will get in the way of mowers.

Summary: Registration for F.O. Moxley's Spring Break Camp for Kids will begin on March 5 at 10 a.m. Enjoy fun, games, arts and crafts, music, dance, and a field trip. Pre-registration is required. Space is limited.

Summary: The City of Bowling Green Public Works Department will be conducting two, 90 day traffic studies in the downtown area. Traffic signals will be replaced with stop signs at the 8th and College Street intersection as well as the 8th and State Street intersection.
