"Diversity in the Neighborhood" Training Monday June 5 is Last Chance for Required SNAP Training

The Neighborhood University training series concludes with "Diversity in the Neighborhood", to be held Monday, June 5 at 6:00 p.m. at Neighborhood & Community Services, 707 E. Main Avenue.

More than 60 different languages are spoken today across our community, and more than 12% of the City's population is foreign-born.  What makes Bowling Green so rich in diversity?  In this free Neighborhood University session, learn about our international communities and the City's efforts to have a diverse, inclusive workforce.  We'll explore ways to bridge language and cultural gaps between neighbors and make your neighborhood’s diversity an asset. Presented by the City's International Communities Liaison Leyda Becker.  Please pre-register for this session: email karen.foley@bgky.org or call 270.393.3674.
