"Understanding Bowling Green's Neighborhood Ordinances" Training Session Monday, May 22

Neighborhood Services will continue its Neighborhood University training series with a session called "Understanding Bowling Green's Neighborhood Ordinances" on Monday, May 22 at 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Swimming pools, leash laws, overgrown grass: a number of ordinances and standards exist to regulate these and other neighborhood issues. From noisy parties and zoning issues to dilapidated housing, at this Neighborhood University session, youll learn how to more accurately identify possible violations, how to monitor the "life cycle" of a complaint, and even how to pursue alternatives to standard enforcement efforts.

This free session will be held Monday, May 22, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Neighborhood & Community Services Community Room, 707 E. Main Avenue.  Call 270-393-3444 or email: Karen.foley@bgky.org to register.  This session meets the training requirement for eligibility for the City of Bowling Green's Select Neighborhood Action Program (SNAP) mini-grants.
